Here is our team for this weekend:
Petr Cech has been solid for the Gunners after a somewhat fumbling start to the season. He made a couple of world class saves when Liverpool visited Emirates, and the last two have given the Czech two clean sheets. Arsenal is heavy favourites at home against Stoke that has been struggling in the start of the season, and we expect the Arsenal defence to keep tight.
Arsenal has only scored three so far, and we keep directing our focus on them keeping tight in the back. Right back Hector Bellerin (£5.5) is looking for his forth start in a row and gets our confidence as well as Arsene Wenger’s. Aaron Cresswell attacking contributions should come as no surprise for those who followed West Ham last season. 2 assists so far this season, and West Ham are certainly looking for another win on Monday night, facing Newcastle who are yet to score away from home. Our last defender is Alexander Kolarov, who faces few challengers for his left back spot these days with Clichy injured at least another month.
This is where it gets hard. Lots of players have been convincing so far this season. Pedro (£9.5) has racked up two assists and a goal after his arrival at Stamford Bridge, and it’s difficult to leave him out of any fantasy lineups right now. The same goes for Riyad Mahrez (£5.5), the highest scoring attacking player so far. Andre Ayew (£7) has been a revelation for Swansea, scoring 3 goals himself on top of one assist. Swansea face newcomers Watford away, and we like his chances to add to his tally. Raheem Sterling (£9) could easily be swapped with both David Silva and Yaya Toure, who all are 100 % viable options. Sterling has gained some momentum recently, getting his first goal last time around against Watford. Be aware though, Crystal Palace away is no walk in the park, even for Manchester City. Our last man capturing a spot in our 5-man midfield is budget option Nathan Redmond (£5.5), who’s been involved in most of Norwich’s goals this season.
No easy picks here either. Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson (£5.5) is bursting with confidence after 4 goals in the last two matches. We hope for a free-flowing, attacking match on Carrow Road, and a few goals for our front man. Sergio Agüero (£13) will accompany him, despite him failing to find the back of the net the last two matches, but it’s a close race between him and Gomis (£7). Olivier Giroud is another option, but we are not sure how Arsene Wenger thinks ahead of the clash on Saturday. Walcott was preferred last time around, so we leave both of them out of our equation this weekend.
