Man of The Match In KKR vs SRH
Indian opener Shuham Gill’s innings came at a time when KKR have been struggling in the tournament. Gill scored match-winning 57 off 51 balls earning him Man Of The Match honors for his efforts against SRH on Sunday evening.
Eoin Morgan led KKR put up a gritty fight in their low-scoring encounter with IPL debutant Malik, who leaked 27 runs to take his team down.
Though Malik went wicketless in his debut game against KKR, the Indian speed merchant was nonetheless lauded by SRH skipper Kane Williamson after the match.
“Malik has been bowling really quick in the nets and it’s really nice for him to get an opportunity today. We’ve been facing him in the nets – he’s special, lots of pace. Young guy runs in and goes hard. Obviously, we’re out of the competition, so it’s a chance for some other boys to also get on the park,” post-match Williamson said.
