Eleven-a-side Scoring System

Player Action Points

  • Players receive points for different actions during a single match.
  • Points from each match are accumulated throughout the duration of the contest.
Action Points
For playing up to 60 minutes 1
For playing more than 60 minutes 2
For each goal scored by a goalkeeper or defender 6
For each goal scored by a midfielder 5
For each goal scored by a forward 4
For each goal assist 3
For a clean sheet by a goalkeeper or defender (has to play more than 60 minutes) 4
For a clean sheet by a midfielder 1
For every 3 shot saves by a goalkeeper 1
For each penalty save 5
For each penalty miss -2
For every 2 goals conceded by a goalkeeper or defender -1
For each yellow card -1
For each red card -3
For each own goal -2
  • If a player receives a red card, they will continue to be penalised for goals conceded by their team.

Bonus Points

  • Players in each match compete for bonus points based on different actions during the game.
  • The three best performing players in each match receives additional bonus points in each match.

If there is a tie, the same amount for points will be given to the players with the same amount of performance points.

Player Scoring

Game rules from our Classic Scoring system are in place unless overridden below. For example clean sheet scores are the same as our classic scoring system. While Six a side is in beta mode, we may modify the scoring system up until the game starts (We will notify you if we do).

Player Requirements

You must field 6 starting players, and one substitute. Your entire team should consist of the following players (min - max players):

1 Goalkeeper, 2-3 Defenders, 2-3 Midfielders and 1-2 Forwards.

You can play your team with the following formations:

3-1-1, 1-3-1, 2-2-1, 2-1-2, 1-2-2

No Bonus Points are awarded in this scoring system.
